Transcripts

Alumni and former students requesting transcripts should email Guidance Counselor Ms. Floyd at kfloyd@schools.nyc.gov and include their name, birthday and the email address it needs to be sent to.

If you would like to pick up a transcript in person, please either call the school at 212-505-0745 or email Ms. Floyd to schedule a time between 8:30-2:30pm. You will be required to sign in with school safety upon entering the building.

Visiting Procedures

We are always happy to welcome our alumni back to AGL! Our former students remain an important part of our school community and legacy. We love hearing about their accomplishments, reconnecting with them, and providing opportunities for them to stay connected with the staff who supported them.

To ensure that alumni visits do not disrupt teaching, learning, or daily school operations, all former students are expected to follow the procedures below.

Scheduling a Visit
Alumni must email the school in advance to schedule a visit. Walk-in or unscheduled alumni visits will not be permitted. When scheduling, alumni should identify the staff member they would like to visit so that the school can confirm the staff member's availability.

Visiting Staff Members
Former students will not be permitted to visit or interrupt teachers or other staff members while they are teaching, supervising students, attending meetings, or otherwise assigned to school duties. Visits must be scheduled during a time when the staff member is available.

Upon Arrival
All alumni must:

  • Report directly to the Main Office upon entering the building and follow all building visitor and security procedures.
  • Have a confirmed appointment with a staff member.
  • Proceed directly to the staff member with whom they have an appointment after receiving permission from the Main Office.
  • Remain in the approved area for the visit and not visit classrooms, offices, hallways, or other areas of the school without permission.
  • Return to the Main Office and follow sign-out procedures at the conclusion of the visit.

Protecting Instructional Time
Alumni may not enter classrooms to visit former teachers, socialize with current students, or observe classes unless the visit has been specifically approved in advance by school administration.

We value our alumni and want them to remain connected to the AGL community. These procedures allow us to welcome former students back while protecting instructional time, maintaining school safety, and respecting the responsibilities of our staff.

Once an Eagle, always an Eagle. We simply ask that you plan your visit before you fly back home.
